RON'S EMERGENCY RESPONSE:
Emergency Response is defined as all services requiring immediate response, subject to emergency surcharges and priced per response vehicle.
Regular hours
are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.
After Business hours and Holidays are considered emergency service and may require a surcharge.
Categorizing Water Contamination:
A Categorization of the level of contamination of water in a damaged structure is required to perform loss assessment and evaluation. The category of water contamination must be considered so that procedures can be established for processing water-damaged structures and materials safely.*
There are three basic sources of water:
Category 1 originates from a sanitary source and poses no substantial risk from dermal, ingestion, or inhalation exposure. However, it may not always remain clean after it comes in contact with other surfaces or materials.
Category 2 contains significant contamination and has the potential to cause discomfort or sickness if contacted or consumed by humans. It may contain potentially unsafe levels of microorganisms or nutrients for microorganisms, as well as other organic or inorganic matter (chemical or biological).
Category3 is grossly contaminated and may contain pathogenic, toxigenic or other harmful agents. Such water sources may carry silt, organic matter, pesticides, heavy metals, regulated materials, or toxic organic substances.
HOW WE RESTORE
Carpet Drying

1. We first use the latest technology to determine the source of the water and make sure the problem has been stopped before proceeding with the cleanup.
2. We then extract the water from your carpet, pad, hardwoods, etc. (Sometimes replacement of the pad may be necessary.)
3. If necessary we apply a disinfectant to the moist area to prevent mildew and other bacteria from growing before the process is complete.
4. Next we use several different processes to dry the carpet, rugs, pads, hardwoods, etc.
5. If necessary we restretch the carpet.
6. Lastly we do a thourough cleaning of the carpet, rugs, upholstery, etc. using our Vortex® Carpet Cleaning System.
(If we are cleaning up a sewage flood we will actually disinfect in the beginning and end of the process and completely remove and dispose of your old carpet and pad before cleaning the under flooring.)
Hardwood Drying

1. We thoroughly locate and mark the wet areas using the latest technology.
2. Next we install and secure drying mats and equipment.
3. We then extract the water from the wood using our special drying equipment.
Wall Drying

1. First we locate and mark the places on the wall where moisture is detected.
2. We then install our special wall drying unit that extracts all moisture from the wall.
